Terms of Service

1. Service Description

FanTranslator ("we", "our", or "the Service") is a Fanvue App Store application that translates chat messages between creators and fans, preserving tone and style. All translations are generated by an artificial intelligence (AI) language model, automatically and without human review before delivery. No message you send or receive through the Service is ever translated by a human translator. See Section 3 below and our Disclaimer for what that means for accuracy.

2. Payments, Plans & Credits

FanTranslator does not process payments or sell content. All payments (plan subscriptions, credit top-ups, tips, pay-to-view) are handled exclusively by Fanvue through the App Store. Your plan grants a monthly pool of translation credits; unused credits from an active paid plan roll into your balance, and purchased top-up credits never expire. Translation is only billed when a message actually needs it, text already in your chosen language is passed through free of charge. See our Billing Guide for details.

Plans are managed entirely through Fanvue: upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations all happen there, never in this dashboard. If you cancel, you keep full access until the period you already paid for ends. If a payment is refunded or successfully disputed, we cannot undo translations that already happened, but unused credits from that purchase are removed from your balance and paid access ends immediately rather than at the end of the period.

3. AI Translation & Accuracy

By using FanTranslator, you acknowledge and agree that the content of your conversations (both what you write and what you receive) is processed by a third-party AI language model in order to translate it. Translations are generated automatically, without any human review before delivery, and may occasionally be inaccurate, miss context, or lose nuance. You are responsible for reviewing translated messages before relying on them, especially for sensitive or high-value conversations. 4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FanTranslator for any unlawful purpose, to harass other users, or to violate Fanvue's terms of service.

5. Data & Privacy

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may delete your account and data at any time from Settings. Deletion is irreversible and permanently erases your data within 30 days.

6. Limitation of Liability

FanTranslator is provided "as is". We are not liable for any interruptions to the service, mistranslations, or factors beyond our reasonable control.
